Horrible experience through out my pregnancy. My first appointment they asked several times if this was a good thing and kept mentioning if something was wrong we would "take care of it". I am a married 25 year old accountant. Every time I asked a question they answered with "I don't know" or "I can't answer that". I came down with a terrible cold at about 7 months, I have asthma and couldn't breathe. They refused to see me, wouldn't answer my questions, told me to go to the ER and my regular doctor (both told me I need to see my OB). After calling and yelling at them one doctor finally agreed to see me and prescribed the inhaler I had been asking for, for almost a week. Once I went into labor, I was in labor for 63 hours with contractions every 3-5 minutes. I went to the hospital twice and they sent me home because I wasn't dilated. My water finally broke so they had to admit me. I asked for pain meds and they acted like I was being a wimp and checked me again. Dr. Dickens felt something and decided to do an ultrasound. He then said "she's breech, we're doing a c-section" and walked out of the room. No one had bothered to check the entire time if she was in the right position and I had been in terrible back labor for 3 days. They were very rude through out the whole process and even discussed the new house they were looking at while doing my c-section. When I went in for my 2 week check, the same doctor that delivered her asked what gender she was and then proceeded to make jokes about how her legs were positioned. She has a subluxed hip due to being in the breech position and has been in a harness for 2 months to correct it. Not very funny. Will never see this office again.
This center Allowed me to suffer in the hospital without IV meds after a complete hysterectomy and tube being removed. Only was given medicine prescribed from doctors after initial surgery. This has been so painful and a horrible experience. The nurses called four times letting them know I needed pain meds and the Dr. On call said he could not change the Dr.'s orders. believe it or not, the hospital can not go over what the Dr. Says.
I was recommended to go here by a friend for my first pregnancy. I try to call the office on multiple occasions and you just get put on a very long hold that ask if you would like to leave your name and number so they could give you a call back, they never call you back. Finally I called and just decided to just wait on hold after 20 minutes somebody finally answered and was very short and rude with me. I called to set up an appointment and to see if they accept my insurance and was cut off mid sentence and told that I had to do that myself. she said that it's the patients responsibility to call the insurance company with their office tax ID to see if there compliant with my medical plan. I worked in a doctors office for years and we were never in 1 million years allowed to tell A patient to call and check themselves that's part of their job that's why you have to have the doctor special tax ID in order to see if they're participating provider . Lazy rude staff so I'm gonna save myself the trouble and go somewhere else.
The women in this office are not friendly or respectful to their patients. They certainly do not strive to make patient experience a good one. I went in for my first visit and waited over 20 minutes for an ultrasound and was then told because the appointment ran late I would have to come back for lab work which I was also scheduled for that day. They also preceded to tell me the wait was because they got an new system and everything is crazy for them right now, not what I want to hear for my first visit. It's my first pregnancy and I never saw a Dr or spoke to anyone where our questions could be answered. When I called to speak with someone about my experience I waited on hold for 20 minutes only transferred to someone's voicemail. My call was not returned until 6 hours later and the person who called me couldn't care less that I was not happy with my first experience. I will be switching offices for the remainder of my care. Do not trust your pregnancy care to this practice! They should strive to build a level of trust with their patients and frankly they're not capable.
Was called and told to come into the office right away for a d&c after my first pregnancy ultrasound because i had a blited ovum. I said i rather get a second opinion because i was probably only 3 to 4 weeks along. Glad i did because i wouldnt have my 8 year old daughter with me today...
